TRUST LICENSES

Independium has acquired a number of licenses in order to operate as a Trust company. Independium has only obtained licenses in countries where this is possible. Currently, Independium has licenses to operate as Trust company in the Netherlands and Netherlands Antilles.

At the introduction of the current Trust Legislation in the Netherlands and Netherlands Antilles, Independium was the first Trust Company to own Trust Licenses in both the Netherlands and Netherlands Antilles.

Supervision
Independium was granted a (mandatory) license to operate as Trust Company by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) back in 2004. Independium is as a result of this, subject to supervision by the DNB. Its Dutch directors have been thoroughly screened by the DNB.
On the Netherlands Antilles, the Central Bank Netherlands Antilles (CBNA) has granted a license to Independium to operate as Trust Company in 2004. As in the Netherlands, the directors of the local Independium company were screened.
